Description: - 2013-2014 - Construction of a new 454-foot timber railroad trestle on the Virginia Creeper Trail for the Town of Abingdon, VA.  This bridge replaced the original Trestle #7 that was destroyed during the tornado in 2011.  Work included grading, concrete footings and abutments, and timber framing to rebuild the trestle to a design similar to the original.
